POLOKWANE TOUR

Bakone Malapa(Badfontein Chief Settlement)

According to Bakone Tribe the Chief is entitled to marry three wives. And each wife sleep in her own hut. This is the first wife's hut,You can wonder why the hut has three doors instead of one.The two opposite doors is for the chiefs'guards and the middle door is for the first wife.

POLOKWANE TOUR

Here is at Bakone Malapa Open Air Museum.
It was very fascinating,Because I have learn how to make a fire without using a matches stick. In the olden days there were no matches,But still the people survived by only using the cow dung, marula roots sticks and a stone. This is thier African Magic and the only trick that you can use to make fire when you are stuck in the midle of nowhere without a matches or a fire lighter. In my culture it is believed that only men are allowed to make fire this way.
